Avoid this place like the plague! We have been going since it first opened and the service was impeccable. Now you have to wait in the freezing cold for well over an hour whilst there are 8 staff on duty seemingly doing nothing!!! To leave elderly and disabled people waiting this long, in these sorts of temperatures is completely unacceptable!! How long does it take to pick a couple of items, get them checked and scanned out? The opening hours used to be the only saving grace. Now, they are closing between 12 and 2 and closing early at 8pm when it should be 10pm and even if you have been waiting

Although they provide a public service I finally gave up using this pharmacy. I got fed up with the queues, the poor layout with only one door and a very small waiting area, plus annoyingly being told time and time again that they did not have all of my prescription, issue part of it and tell me that I would have to come back to collect the rest! In the end I have gone over to an online pharmacy, which is much easier. They need to review the layout as its not fit for purpose.

Shockingly poor. The pharmacy is *regularly* not able to provide necessary medication which has been ordered in advance. The staff are not helpful, possibly due to being overstretched, and the service is extremely slow. I have seen other customers angry, shouting, and crying in this pharmacy. I would not condone treating staff this way but in this case I can absolutely sympathise. How this business has not been shut down already is beyond me. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This pharmacy says its open online with emergency Christmas hours so dentaline sent my husbands emergency prescription there. We drove all the way there to find its closed until Weds with a small note letting everyone know on the door!!! We rang 111 to try and get access to the prescription elsewhere but cant because its been sent there!!! Terrible service to let the public know by putting a note on the door. Even 111 said its disgraceful service as on their line it says they can send emergency prescriptions there!!!!

Please be wary if you have to go to east Street pharmacy on the run up to christmas. It's just taken us an hour to grab some of the items and we've now got to go back as they didn't have them all. Some staff are incredibly rude and snappy, and not at all helpful or empathetic. Staff are also not wearing masks properly despite their sign outside and they have no lateral flow tests to collect. If you can, just go elsewhere.

Service is soooo slow here and they clearly don't care, very elderly people standing in the freezing cold. I have just queued for 40 minutes and they managed to serve 3 people, yes 3.......I gave up as I don't have a spare hour to waste here. They need 2 systems, one for pre prepared prescriptions so people can pick them up quickly and another for walk ins with a new request. Its not rocket science, think about it. Time to move chemist.

Really bad if it wasn't open till 10 I'd avoid like the plague. In the last year they've manged to not reorder my prescription three times. Which results in 'loans' and loads of phone calls. When I complained they told me I could re-order it myself every month from my gp to them as they can't manage this paperwork (tick box on the sheet when you pick it up). I now have a 'batch' from my gp to stop this and they have said I need ring them three days in advance every month to make sure its all there and dispensed (?). Even though same prescription same date every time. They have also asked me for
