Established in 2006, based in Crowborough, K9 and Kitty Kapers provides dog walking, doggy daycare and boarding across Sussex, Kent and Surrey, along with cat and small animal care. With varied walks across Ashdown Forest in East Sussex and the surrounding areas, we are a great alternative to kennels, offering a far more personal, home from home environment for your dog.
Whether you need us on a regular or more adhoc basis, the one hour walk will increase your dog's sociability and exhaust him/her in the process! Your dog is bought into our home and becomes one of the family, lounging in front of the woodburner just like our Labrador Harvey does! We've had some who just don't want to leave, which is always a good advert for us!

Services
Both Mark and I (Wendy) have financial backgrounds but having spent a number of years looking after our friends' dogs whilst on holiday, we decided to set up K9andKittyKapers in 2006. Having moved to Crowborough in 2002 and felt thoroughly spoilt with the array of fantastic walks on offer here, we felt we could offer a caring service of a high standard to those who were not as fortunate as ourselves and still had an office job!
To provide loving care for your animals in your absence, a home from home environment, while still following your training methods, thereby giving you peace of mind that your animal is safe and content. You can be safe in the knowledge that we will care for your animals while they are entrusted to us, just as you would.
Whether you are out at work, visiting friends or just have chores to do, we can walk your dog on a regular or ad hoc basis, increasing your dogs sociability as he/she mixes with a host of different breeds (maximum 6 dogs per walk) and keeping his/her interest in a variety of walks. We will follow your training methods ensuring continuity and therefore less confusion for your dog.
Doggy Day Care as an alternative to kennels, drop your dog on the way to work or a day out, safe in the knowledge that he/she will spend the day as part of the family in our home. Price is inclusive of a full hours walk (or more if we have the space and your dog has the energy, at no extra cost).
An indepth consultation, either at our home or yours, means we have a detailed idea of your dog's likes and dislikes and how they ususally spend their day, leading to a less stressful environment for your dog when it is here.Bring a bed, favourite toys, lunch!

Your dog can spend time in our home for longer periods, perhaps while you are on holiday, away for a long weekend, we've even had dogs stay up to 2 months! They will be in a caring environment, in our house, with a large secure garden to run around in as well as coming on many happy walks on the forest.

We have been sending our dog to K9 & Kitty Kapers since she was a Pup, purely for socialisation at the beginning during the Covid Lockdown but now she is there two days a week whilst I am back in London for work during the day! She absolutely loves it there, to the point she knows exactly where she is headed when we pull up to their house. Wendy & Mark are professional, reliable, friendly and we completely trust them with our Pug. We cannot recommend their services enough! Thank you

Wonderful dog boarding and doggy daycare service. The dogs have open access to a huge area to run around. Their kennel area is warm and comfy. The dogs are well looked after. They are professional dog carers. My dog has been much better on the lead since they have been walking him. He loves to go there. In the summer they set up dog agility activity for him. They are absolutely brilliant ...ad really nice too. Highly recommended. Thank you!
