Doggie Rambles Horsham

We had the most beautiful walk from Slinfold church today. Spring is my favourite time of the year, so much new life to be seen and heard. The dogs enjoyed all the fresh smells and chasing each other about. They deserved their cool off along the way. I'm looking forward to walking the new dogs I have visited recently and have a few afternoon spaces should you like your dog to join us.

Now is the time to consider how our pets will cope with us not being around 24/7 when we return to work. Suddenly being alone for many hours every day, can cause separation anxiety. With dogs it can result in excessive pacing, barking, howling, whimpering or self-grooming. These symptoms won't go away on their own but with your positivity and encouragement things will improve.

Friends back together again. They all gave me such a lovely welcome too. Although the weather has been hot we found plenty of shady walks and places where a dip in a pool has been welcomed. After weeks of walking children instead of dogs it's good to now get back to work, dogs really do appreciate me more! Although things are starting off slowly i'm confident they will build again over time and I look forward to welcoming new clients.

I like to vary our walks each day and will travel to different woods and fields around the Horsham area and will try and suit walks to the dogs, as I know some prefer to sniff in the woods whilst others enjoy the freedom of the open fields.I will also take into consideration the weather conditions and do cool woods walks on hot days and will offer dogs a drink at the end of their walk.

How things have changed from the madness of March, walking dogs and meeting my customers to the quietness and emptiness of our current times. All so many things to appreciate and be grateful for. Molly and I are lucky enough to be able to walk to the countryside from our home for our hours walk each day.
