About me
Report
Like many other notaries public, I am also a solicitor. I qualified as a solicitor back in 2006 and am also a partner in the firm Streathers Clapham LLP. As a solicitor I frequently deal with residential as well as commercial property. I also frequently deal with wills and probate.

In terms of my experience purely as a Notary Public, I qualified as a Notary Public in early 2012 and have been providing notarial acts to a highly satisfied client-base since this time.
Notary Public Fees
Report
I charge a minimum of 60 for a notarial act. This fee would be charged for a simple matter such as certifying a passport or a one page letter. If there is more than one document or the matter is more complex then my fee would increase. I will normally give you a fixed fee before I commence any notary work.

What is a Notary Public
Report
London is the commercial hub of the UK and has a large concentration of companies and individuals that deal with transactions abroad. As such a notary public in London can be very busy. A Notary Public is a fully qualified lawyer - a member of the third and oldest branch of the legal profession within the United Kingdom.
Terms, regulation and complaints

The service provided by me is that of a Notary Public carrying out all permitted notarial activities including, where appropriate, arranging legalisation of documents and sending them to their final destination. An essential part of a notary's role is to maintain and keep records.

The fee charged may include time spent on preliminary advice, drafting and preparation time, making and receiving telephone calls, correspondence written and received in all formats, arranging legalisation and record keeping.
