We require 48 hours' notice for colour service cancellations to avoid a 50% fee. Same-day cancellations may incur full charges at our discretion.

Yes, we require valid Allergy Alert Test status for colour services. First-time clients must complete a £50 deposit process with advance notice.

I've never been more genuinely taken care of in a salon. John made sure that I was clear about the colour and spoke to me about what would be best considering my natural hair colour. The cut and colour both look amazing - best I've ever had done (by the lovely Georgia). Everyone really knows what they're doing and they make sure you leave with what you wanted. Very reasonable price and very hospitable during the visit. Would recommend to anyone.

We moved out of the area 5 years ago but we still travel in specially to get our hair done by Billie! You can always be guaranteed of a warm welcome from the whole team not to mention a hot cuppa and biscuits. … They couldn't have been more supportive after we had a baby. Their gowns are all breastfeeding friendly and they've got toys to keep the little ones occupied when they're on the move!!
Once when I was there a young lady came in in her slippers to enquire how much a colour would cost. After finding out she'd just got out of the hospital Jon offered her a free hair wash there and then

Jon Hurst Hairdressing is fantastic! I can't recommend the team highly enough. Billie has cut my hair for over 8 years and does a great job with my children (who wriggle in the chair a lot!). The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly, and we're always well looked after by the whole team.
