The Old Rock Shop Bistro

Here at The Old Rock Shop Bistro our aim is to provide great service, great food and great hospitality. I started working in the cafe that was previously on this site back on 2003 and when the business came up for sale I took it over in 2007. We renamed the business to reflect the heritage of the building.

We serve light breakfasts, brunches, lunches, cakes and pastries, as well as a wide range of teas, coffees and cold drinks. All of our food, cakes and pastries are homemade on site by our own chefs using fresh, local ingredients and all are available to take away. Food is served from 8am - 6pm, 7 days a week, and we are fully licensed with a selection of beers and carefully selected wines.

If you need catering for a function, we can prepare and deliver a delicious selection of food in a variety of venues from homes to community venues and businesses. Our catering menu includes a wide range of food including celebration cakes, finger buffets, barbeques, fork buffets, canapes, hot food, breakfasts as well as holiday home catering - all using locally sourced ingredients.

Come along to one of our themed nights to enjoy great-tasting food from around the world and even some live music. We often base our theme nights around occasions such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Burns Night, or local events such as the Crab & Lobster Festival and Cromer Folk Festival. Our quarterly quiz evenings are comprised of a homemade two-course dinner followed by a quiz with a break for tea and coffee.
