At Higher Trenowin, we have dedicated ourselves to the breeding and rearing of pedigree Red Ruby Devon cattle, a tradition rooted in the rich agricultural heritage of Cornwall. Our herd grazes freely across the gorse and heather-clad landscapes, contributing to the exceptional quality and distinctive taste of our beef. While our on-site Farm Shop has regrettably closed due to operational and health considerations, we continue to offer hand-sized beef boxes through mail order and direct collection, ensuring our premium produce remains accessible. Our commitment to excellence has been recognised nationally, including winning the 2025 Devon Cattle Society Herd Competition and a nomination for the Cornwall Farm Business Award. We prioritise sustainable farming practices, actively participating in conservation efforts and maintaining high herd health standards.

Our team, led by Steve and Bridgette Clamp, combines decades of hands-on experience with a passion for preserving traditional farming methods. We collaborate with local partners and organisations, such as the Red Ruby Cattle Breeders Association and the Addington Fund, to enhance both our agricultural output and community impact. Transparency and quality remain at the forefront of our operations, from halter-breaking heifers to preparing silage for winter. Our tailored meat boxes, available seasonally, reflect our dedication to meeting customer needs while upholding the integrity of our craft.
