With a culinary career spanning over 25 years, Dave brings extensive experience from award-winning kitchens across the South West. He earned his first AA Rosette within six weeks of becoming Head Chef at The Eastbury Hotel and later achieved two AA Rosettes. His passion for French cuisine was nurtured through family holidays in France and formal training in prestigious establishments.

First time we ate there was in October off the main menu. Second time was in December off the Festive menu. Both times the food and service was excellent. The belly pork just falls apart, moist and full of flavour. As for the dessert, can't make my mind up which is the best. The Chocolate Brownie or the Sticky Toffee.

We held our wedding reception here. Emma, Rachel and Carlos were very attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly. The food throughout our stay was first class, especially the wedding breakfast. We can't praise them enough. Most of our guests stayed and were very happy with the very comfy beds. We also had a Sunday roast which was great the following day !! We will be back for our anniversary.

Had a stop over here on our way to Cornwall and had a great night. Food and drink in the restaurant was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Have stayed before and hopefully will go back again.
