As a family we have run sewing machine shops around the North East since 1922 (Middlesbrough, Metro Centre, Stockton, Bedale and Darlington) After my parents retired and my sister left the industry we had closed the shops down gradually and when I became the sole owner I closed our last shop in Darlington and moved to a much different business model offering a different experience than the old tires model of a high street sewing machine shop.

We are now back open but we are operating a counter service and the whole shop is not available for browsing, our cafe is CLOSED.

Virtually all sewing machines are operating from a waiting list so we generally only have display models available to take away you will need to place your order online or in store to get on the waiting list, as we get deliveries every day please feel free to check for stock before you arrive as something may become available.
