How do I book a table or room?
Book online through our website or call 01263 732133. We recommend advance reservations for indoor tables, especially on weekends and during special events.
Are dogs allowed on the premises?
Yes, we are dog-friendly. Dogs must be on leads in dining areas, with water bowls available outside. Some guest rooms accommodate pets at an additional charge.
Can I bring my own celebration cake?
Due to space limitations, we no longer accept outside cakes. We offer decorated dessert plates with celebratory messages as an alternative.
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Our chefs can modify many dishes to accommodate dietary needs like gluten-free or dairy-free diets. Please inform staff of requirements when booking.
What parking facilities are available?
We have our own car park with additional National Trust parking next door. Secure storage for bikes and e-bikes is available upon request.
Are there accessibility considerations?
Due to our historic layout, prams and pushchairs cannot be accommodated inside. We prioritise accessible seating while maintaining the building's character.

Amazing food! We had the festive menu last week. It had a good variety and some interesting choices. Large portions, we were truly stuffed come the end of the meal especially as we didn't want to leave any. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because of the table layup. A 3 course festive dinner and we have one set of cutlery on a napkin with a cheap cracker with a sticker inside. But otherwise couldn't fault, the service was also excellent. I would definitely recommend.

After going for a long walk we stopped here for a drink in the snug which was very snug! A great atmosphere and the food was delicious especially the crab thermadore.

Stayed at The Bucks last Wed's. Really nice spotlessly clean room, comfy bed, good selection of teas and nice biscuits, warm and cosy. The food was fabulous, plenty of it and perfectly cooked. Staff friendly and attentive. Nothing too much trouble. Will definitely stay again. Also really good breakfast and a nice walk around Blickling Hall lake.

Hands down the best meal out in a long while. Greeted by Tom and Ella, they both had such great vibes made us feel so welcome... 5pm on a Sunday fairly busy but didn't have to wait long for food- which was fantastic!! Great size portions and absolutely delicious! Lovely staff, food and great vibes
