We work closely with three teams of qualified Hetas installers. All of our fitters are self employed and take just as much pride in their work as we do in our products. The fitters will discus options for hearths, surrounds, oak beams and chambers/backing plates when they carry out a site visit. All Hetas engineers routinely have their work inspected to insure it is up to the highest of standards.

It is important to know that the figures published regarding poor air quality in relation to wood-burning stoves are taking into account open fires & older stoves. An eco-design stove gives off 90% less particulate emissions than an open fire & 80% less than a 10 year old non-defra stove. NO - The new clean air strategy does ban certain fuels, raw house coal, low quality smokeless fuels and wet wood.

The Mors Foundry opened in 1853, it was for the production of all sorts of products, from stable windows, grave crosses and tools to saucepans, pots and pans. Wood-burners and tiled stoves only came later, around the turn of the century, when Mors began to produce and provide tiled stoves and heaters to schools, churches, the railways, ministries and not least to the royal household.

The first step of the process involves speaking with Peter or Ben at the shop or over phone/email. We ask a few questions regarding property type, which room the stove is being installed in and what style of stove/install you are looking for (modern/traditional). After we have discussed your needs we speak through what is involved and what components are usually needed in your scenario.
