Trusted Podiatry Services in St Helens
Alpine Podiatry was established in 2006 by Susan Faulkner, who opened our first clinic in Rainford following her qualification as a podiatrist. The practice expanded to Sutton within 12 months, serving local communities with distinction. In 2022, we merged with Windle Podiatry & Chiropody, founded by Danielle and Gareth Ryder in 2018, to enhance our service offerings. Our team of HCPC-registered professionals delivers a comprehensive range of podiatry treatments across three clinics in Eccleston, Rainford, and Sutton, alongside domiciliary care and specialist aged care services. We prioritise patient-centred care, tailoring treatments to individual needs while maintaining strong partnerships with local GPs and medical centres.

Our expertise spans routine foot care, diabetic foot management, biomechanical assessments, and advanced treatments like verruca needling and bespoke orthotics. With over 15 combined years of NHS and private practice experience, our podiatrists bring technical proficiency and compassionate care to every consultation. We are committed to community engagement, supporting local charities and sports teams, and ensuring accessible, high-quality foot healthcare for all ages.

Services
Diabetic Treatment
Specialist diabetic foot assessments and ongoing management to prevent complications. Our HCPC-registered podiatrists address neuropathy, ulcers, and circulation issues with evidence-based interventions. Regular check-ups ensure early detection of potential problems, reducing amputation risks while maintaining mobility and quality of life.
Bespoke Orthotics
Tailored orthotic solutions for biomechanical imbalances, plantar fasciitis, and sports injuries. We conduct gait analysis and foot mobilisation to create custom insoles that improve alignment, reduce pain, and enhance foot function for daily activities or athletic performance.
Verruca Treatment
Advanced verruca management using needling and cryotherapy techniques. Our practitioners target viral infections with minimal discomfort, offering follow-up care to ensure complete resolution while advising on prevention strategies for recurring cases.
Nail Surgery
Permanent and temporary solutions for ingrown toenails, including partial nail avulsions with phenolisation. We use local anaesthesia for comfort, providing post-operative care instructions to minimise infection risks and promote healing for long-term relief.
Foot Mobilisation
Manual techniques to improve foot and ankle mobility for arthritis, sports injuries, or biomechanical dysfunction. This non-invasive treatment restores natural movement patterns, reduces pain, and complements orthotic therapy to enhance overall foot function and gait efficiency.
