With a wealth of experience and training in all aspects of the beauty industry, it's the science that interests me the most. My two specialist areas are electrolysis and skincare. I set up my own business because I knew there was a demand for good electrolysists and facialists. They're obviously closely related and I spend a lot of time looking at skin through a magnifying lamp.

A list of medications (many medications can aggravate skin conditions, or can be contraindications for certain treatments). Please arrive wearing no make-up or moisturisers, so a true picture of the skin can be seen.

Since the 1990s microneedle therapy has been used by clinics to perform Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) as an anti-ageing treatment. We now have Fractional Mesotherapy which is a combined technique that goes further, producing collagen through controlled wounding while Mesotherapy adds the penetration of sterile active ingredients directly into the dermis to treat a range of skin concerns.
