We've had a lovely Christmas holiday t and we absolutely loved it. Our friends and us definitely recommend it. The house is very spacious and clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of, when you are going away. The owners are very friendly and approachable. They popped around a couple of times to make sure everything is OK and to clean the hot tub.
Also, they surprised us with a lovely Christmas tree and lovely Christmas decorations around the living room. Day and night we had hot water and the heating was on (the rooms were warm and cosy). Overall it was a great experience

Absolutely stunning Place to stay. Rooms are basic but hot tub, pool table and large family room is a massive bonus! Beautiful walks around and only 2 mins away from the river!

Brimpts Farm is situated just above Dartmeet and offers a countryside experience like no other! A move away from the busy towns and wifi allows you to unwind and relax in the heart of Dartmoor watching the cows graze in the fields and the clouds slowly float by! Very basic accomodation but thats the beauty of it! A little stove for hot drikns and toast is a must as are sleeping bags and mattress covers!

I spend a couple of weeks each year at Brimpts, with a reading group. It's always a warm welcome, Gabrielle and Andy are really charming people who have built a business that clearly feels a lot like a family. It's a privilege to spend time here, and be spoiled rotten.

The may family would like to say thank you to gabrielle and andy for looking after us all ,all 25 ,nothing was too much trouble .we all had a fantastic week, and the hot tub and fire pit was a huge success . We're all looking forward to our 3rd stay with you x

Great location right on the river. We were five familys , all had a great time walking and enjoying playing around river. We walked up the Tor and cycled around. Highly recommended.
