Richard's Tattoo Studio is one of Aberdeens most established professional tattoo studios. Richards first opened in 1986 quickly gaining popularity as the place to get tattooed and with its customer base increasing, the studio relocated to its current location in 1990. The studio currently has two resident artists and continues to grow, providing professional ear & body piercing and a state-of-the-art laser treatment room for tattoo removals.

We're always available to offer help and advice for all aspects of aftercare for your tattoo or piercing. Here is a list of the most commonly asked question which we hope will answer any initial questions you may have. Keep the medical dressing on for a minimum of 2 hours and up to a maximum of 24 hours.

Looking to remove a tattoo completely or need to fade it before getting a cover up then our laser removal treatment room can provide the perfect solution. We operate the powerful Synchro QS4 laser from Lynton designed specifically for black and colour tattoo removal. Our Lynton trained and approved practitioners are on hand to appraise your tattoo and guide you through the treatment and aftercare process.
Laser Treatment After Care

Complete healing takes 6 to 8 weeks. It may seem like the surface of the skin has healed in a few weeks but the deeper layers, the Dermis, is still healing. This is why we wait at least 6 weeks before the next treatment. Your immune system plays a huge part in the healing as well as the ink elimination process.
Ear & Body Piercing

Our piercing studio provides a safe and private area for all piercings. We have a good range of quality jewellery which is included in the price of piercing or can be sold separately. Piercings can be carried out by either female or male members of staff, please let us know when you book an appointment if you have a preference.
