History

Our Managing Director, Dr Tim Hamilton founded Scientific Services in 2002. The company initially provided microbiology consultancy to a wide and varied customer base. A programme of diversification led to the achievement of UKAS accreditation for asbestos bulk analysis in 2005. Then in 2007, we secured UKAS accreditation for asbestos air testing and four stage clearance services.

Scientific Services protects against asbestos and Legionella risks. Our team have promoted client's safety and ensured their compliance for more than 18 years. Tim has a PhD and founded Scientific Services. It's his academic background and experience that led him to set up microbiology and asbestos laboratories.
