But how do you decide which frame? A good start is to remember the purpose of the frame is to enhance your work so we allow the style and character of it to suggest the frame.

Box framing or shadow box framing not only adds interest to two dimensional work it allows you to display treasured possessions like medals, sports shirts, tour memorabilia, coins, anything that has a third dimension. Fragile items are protected from knocks, knicks and all the nasties causing deterioration that devalues your collection.

Conservation & Museum framing are two recognised standards of picture framing which protect fragile items and preserve their current condition for the future. Damage devalues everything, so we aim to slow the rate of natural decay by using best practice techniques and best quality materials. Environmental fluctuations cause deterioration so we make sure the item or artwork doesn't touch the glass.
