First visit today..2very tasty cottage pies and proper gravy eaten and thoroughly enjoyed. Hope to try the Sunday Roast this week

Very welcoming and accomodating. Went for Sunday lunch which was delicious. Service was a bit slow but we were there as a get together for family so didn't bother us. Would recommend

Highly recommended , the owners are friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious and very clean with a generous ensuite again very clean. Free WiFi worked well

Ok for a 1 night stay but needs a bit of TLC in places. New management who are new to the hospitality trade so still need to hone their hospitality skills. They are very nice people and I'm sure they will get there as they have a lot of enthusiasm.
Biggest disappointment was that the restaurant wasn't open so we had to find food elsewhere. As we booked a few weeks ago we were blissfully unaware of this and think we should have been notified in advance.

Friendly staff. Rooms clean. Breakfast OK but didn't feel it was worth the 100 asking price. Have stayed in better for the money

A most enjoyable stay, good food, beer, and comfortable room to sleep. Nothing was too much trouble for the proprietor. This is the second time we have stayed here, it is ideally situated for us to visit our family and friends. We will definitely stay again.
