Unscrupulous and Disingenuous. Avoid like the plague. They will carry out as much work as possible without authorization and charge like a wounded buffalo. I sent a 25 yr old truck to them for an MOT prep. The only instruction given was that as the vehicle was worth 8-10k max the most important thing was to spend as little as possible. They seemed surprised when I was angry with a bill that came to 2.3k. A bill that included 240+vat for driving the vehicle to test. Multiple replacements of parts with genuine Volvo parts (1 at 300, when an alternative is available for 70 from a factor
