This was our first trip to St Mary's and so glad we stayed here. The location is very central and perfectly set by the harbour with great views. The staff were excellent, some of the best service I've experienced. We ate breakfast at the property every day and had dinner there 2 nights out of 6. My husband and I are both vegan, the staff and chef were incredibly accommodating, and the food was genuinely delicious! Beds were comfy, rooms were spotless and all facilities great. Couldn't reccomend enough to anyone staying on the island!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Schooners Hotel. Excellent food, very pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely patio to sit out on (over the harbour). It is also very convenient for the harbour and the town. We would definitely stay here again

I stayed for a week . Beautiful room . Excellent food . Wonderful , friendly ,accommodating staff from the top to the bottom. Wonderfully placed , with the harbour water almost lapping at the back door . Will definitely use again .

Comfortable and clean no frills accomosation. Guest louge on the top floor has fantastic views. Breakfast excellent. Evening meal promises more than it delivers but is very reasonably priced. Staff friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Schooners Hotel May 2014 and it was brilliant. We arrived on a bad day weather-wise but we were welcomed by an exceptionally warm greeting by the receptionist and that set the tone for the next 4 days. The staff could not do enough for you and that included the waiting staff in the dining room. The meals were terrific and full praise for the chef. Yes the rooms was small but overlooking the harbour made up for that. They were spotlessly clean. I would thoroughly recommend this small caring hotel right on the waters edge.
