We have 20 acres of landscaped gardens and grounds, and luxury accommodation for 18 guests. During the summer, it's a good idea to make the most of our National Garden Scheme-approved gardens.

Because you have exclusive privacy at Chaucer Barn you will have had up to 24 hours in which to relax with your house guests, sink your roots and take 'ownership' of the Barn. Therefore, when the majority of your friends and family arrive for the wedding day you will have already adopted Chaucer Barn as your home.
Do you have a vision of a natural, outdoor wedding? Most of our guests choose to marry in a natural setting, either in our gardens or in the woods. Chaucer Barn features a stone circle near the woods which is a beautiful setting for a ceremony. There are also three tree circles you can use. Stone circles hark back to ancient pre-Christian celebration of nature.
