Ruined our New Years Eve! On arriving at the restaurant (which we'd booked weeks in advance) we were left waiting at the door for 15mins. We were then ushered to a waiting area to the words "next batch sit over here". After waiting for a further 15mins we were eventually seated and a drinks order was taken and received. We were then left waiting for somebody to take our food order for over half an hour (an hour after our original booking) even though we had alerted a member of staff that this hadn't yet been done. All the while others who had arrived at the same time were already eating! In the

Wonderful service from start to finish, from extremely friendly and attentive staff. The food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant was clean and tables well spaced. Very comfortable environment and will definitely return again. Thank you.

Everyone at Nellies are super friendly and the Atmosphere is beyond what would usually be expected. All staff go above and beyond to make your dining experience one that you’ll never forget but one that makes you return time after time. The food is traditional and flavourful. It’s clear that those who cook are Very talented. Master chef’s. Service… is quick, even when busy, but if you have to wait, it’s never for long yet I’d wait hours for the food. You can tell that only the best and most quality of ingredients are used and the meals are presented with a passion

I definitely recommend Nellie for my carnivore/vegetarian family/friends. However, as a vegan, I do not recommend. Menu so unclear about whether anything is vegan. Found an Indian restaurant in Southport with a separate vegan menu so that now my go to restaurant/take out
