Her enthusiasm for art developed throughout her time at school and was encouraged by excellent, honest tuition. Following her degree course she worked in London in roles unrelated to the Arts. Karen returned to painting some years later.

Sally is a Surrey based painter who specialises in equestrian art. She exhibits nationally and internationally and has gained recognition and awards for her vibrant and expressive interpretations of equestrian scenes. Sally is one of only two artists to have been twice awarded the Society of Equestrian Artists Cuneo Medal, their top award for the most meritorious group of work at the Society's summer exhibition in London.

Phil has been a keen photographer for many, many years, shooting first with film SLRs and then progressing on to digital SLRs once the technology started to improve. He always took his camera with him whenever travelling on holiday, abroad to visit friends or even the odd day out to places of interest but he never really set out to create art.

Mary Clarke is a genial, talented potter from Burwash and we are now pleased to show and sell her work at the gallery. She is based at her garden studio in Burwash. A traditional Japanese technique of glaze firing, closely linked to the Tea Ceremony. The glazed figure or form is removed from the kiln whilst the glaze is molten.
