Bungard Funeral Directors, an independent family funeral directors, is a fifth generation family business, serving Brighton & Hove and the surrounding areas. We have been specialists in funerals for over 100 years. Richard Whittle is the second son of James and Ann Whittle. He has the Diploma in Funeral Directing and the Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration from the National Association of Funeral Directors.

Bungard Funeral Directors is one of the oldest established businesses in Hove serving the community for over 106 years. In 1906 Oliver Bungard, who was a Monumental Mason, opened a Funeral Directors' office at 142 Sackville Road, Hove. By 1916 the firm had moved to its present location at 90 Sackville Road, Hove and the Monumental Masonry work moved to 270-272 Old Shoreham Road, Hove.

We are delighted to announce that we will be supporting "Food & Friendship Luncheon Club" based at Hove Methodist Church in Portland Road Hove. We are keen to maintain our close links within the Community and this worthy charity is one close to our hearts. The Luncheon Club provides older people and adults with learning disabilities with a home cooked lunch and friendship twice a week, and has been proudly doing so since 1996!
