Your Trusted Family-Run Farm Shop & Plant Nursery in Warwickshire
Hunscote Farm, established in 1980, is a family-run business rooted in the heart of Warwickshire's countryside. Our legacy began with Geoffrey & Margaret Bomford in 1954, evolving from humble beginnings selling eggs and potatoes to a diversified operation offering premium homegrown produce, including award-winning potatoes, free-range lamb, and home-reared beef. Our plant nursery, launched in the early 2000s, provides high-quality plants grown on-site using professional compost and fertilisers, ensuring value without compromising on health or vigour. In 2024, we expanded further with Hunscote Farm Lodges, offering unique countryside stays, and introduced homemade cakes baked on-site by Lucy, our master baker. Our team combines decades of agricultural expertise with a passion for innovation, delivering exceptional products and experiences.

We prioritise sustainability, rearing livestock on homegrown feed and cultivating plants in nutrient-rich soil. Our commitment to quality extends to our photoshoot services, allowing clients to capture life's moments in our scenic corn fields and historic settings. With over 40 years of experience, we remain dedicated to serving our community and visitors with integrity, attention to detail, and a personal touch. Our reputation for friendly service and affordable, fresh offerings has made us a trusted name in Warwickshire. Through continuous diversification, we aim to preserve our heritage while embracing new opportunities to connect people with the land.

As a family, we have shopped in Hunscote since moving to Stratford in the late 80's. Kath, Gill and the team do a marvellous job and the produce is outstanding. The way they have coped with, and altered their working method to keep going, and to keep us fed since Covid hit is a credit to them all. I felt totally confident at the onset of Covid with my Hunscote click and collect shops, nursery pre-booked visits, and am now extremely happy with the safety measures taken in the farm shop to keep us all safe. Keep going Kath and team and... Thank you. People are quick to criticise, but not so quick

Produce was great but customer service was sadly lacking. The owner was outright rude to me about wearing gloves in her shop, blatantly said oh you touched it you have to buy it now, costs me money. This was shouted out across the ship in front of several people. No sign in place about compulsory glove wearing and other customers not wearing said gloves. Will not be returning back there and if you want comedic customer service them this is the place to go. Owner could easily have learnt her customer service skills from Basil Fawlty.

Some visitors to shop. park lengthways across entrance point making it difficult to park by shop entrance. Maybe mark out parking sections to eliminate this. 2 visitors did this whilst I visited on Saturday owner was about talking to someone but not correcting poor inconsiderate parking.

I don't recognise the previous reviewer's comments about Hunscote Farm Shop. They have been tremendous throughout the lockdown period putting in place a very efficient online/phone ordering system with payment over the phone and calling back with a collection slot time. Since opening the shop they have a safe queuing system outdoors but undercover, provision of gloves, which must be worn for everyone's safety, at a small cost, a one way system round the shop and one person a time at the till with contactless payment. Only two or three people are in the shop at any point and exit is via a different
