We offer a huge range of Adult Dance, fitness and Wellness classes for all abilities. The studio is based in Woking but we also offer an online live streaming Zoom timetable as well as recordings of classes. As well as many events, shows and workshops throughout the year, we also provide First Dance wedding tuition as one-off lessons or a package of three.

Emma is the most amazing dance director, teacher, dancer, friend, sister, all rounder super star here at First Dance Studios. A graduate of the Jazz Dance School and Bodyworks, Emma has been throwing serious shapes since she was a toddler. She hails from a dancing dynasty and continues to bring stellar productions, routines, teachers and jazz hands to the studios.

You should ideally think about starting lessons anywhere around 4-12 weeks before the wedding. If you start any earlier, you could forget everything - or get bored of it. If you'd like to book the package, then we can split the 3 x 1hr lessons into 2 x 1hr 30mins lessons to save on travelling - or if you live even further away, we can teach you the whole thing in one day!

In 2006, we started the Friends Scheme. It was a big birthday for Wendy Arthur (she likes to be known as the "1st Friend"). Her pal Janice Woods wanted to buy her something a little different so she chatted to me about potentially doing something similar to the Royal Ballet. What a good idea I thought!

Situated within Prime Acrobatics and set in the wetlands, we are extremely lucky to have our studio in this beautiful setting - with ample parking and a caf on site. With a mix of classes for all levels of dance abilities, First Dance Studios has over 25 classes to discover. Shows are open to all and all levels of dance ability.
