Nursery & Preschool
Our nursery and preschool provision for children aged 2-5 years follows The Curiosity Approach, using natural resources and real objects to stimulate learning. Qualified staff create calm, engaging environments that foster independence and creativity. Children develop through play-based activities that build confidence and social skills while preparing for school transition.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast club operates 7:30am-8:30am for children aged 2-11 years. We provide healthy breakfast options and structured activities that prepare children for the school day. The relaxed environment helps children transition smoothly from home to educational settings with experienced staff support.
Holiday Club
Holiday club runs during selected term breaks for children aged 2-11 years. Our themed activities from 9:00am-3:00pm include creative projects, outdoor exploration, and community visits. The program maintains educational continuity while offering fun experiences in a safe, stimulating environment.
SEND Support
Our SENCO-qualified team provides tailored support for children with special educational needs. We work closely with families and external professionals to create individual development plans. The inclusive environment ensures all children participate fully in activities at their own pace.
Transition Programme
Our transition program prepares preschoolers for primary education through structured visits to Osgodby Primary School. Activities focus on developing independence, social skills, and basic literacy/numeracy. Staff collaborate with teachers to ensure smooth educational progression and reduced anxiety for children.

We care for children aged 2 to 11 years through our nursery, preschool and holiday club programs.

My son joined Pegasus September 2020, the desicion to send him to any setting wasn't easy- we hadn't been in the area long so didn't know much about local nurseries, we knew he had pretty bad development delay and thanks to Covid the group we were due to attend to prepare him wyere cancelled. We had to just take the leap. When he started with them he was non-verbal and struggled to communicate his needs, I worried he wouldn't make friends, wouldn't cope with the environment. I was worried as we didn't have any outside agencies involved (again thanks to covid) they would just think I was an over
