Early orthodontic treatment usually begins when all the baby teeth have fallen out and the adult teeth have grown in. In a few instances early intervention, as a child's mouth and teeth have grown, can identify any issues in the development of their teeth and bite.

Please know that even if you alleviate the pain caused by your broken appliance, you still need a repair appointment. Right after you get your braces, and sometimes after you have an adjustment appointment, your teeth and mouth will feel sore.
