Beautiful work on my sons very precious gold necklace, was broken and John at Aspell & Co. has done a fantastic & seamless job on itworkshop on site and work done very quickly (was able to get some shopping done while I waited ) and brilliant value.. so pleased as I was nervous about getting it fixed and now you would never know the necklace had been broken . Highly recommend this independent, friendly and local jeweller .

I took my jewellery to John recently I had a few items to be cleaned and shaped, a pendent to be dipped in gold and I had my nans old ring that I wanted molding into something more modern and simple while still doing justice to the ring as it has always been my nans favourite bit.
John was so efficient in getting the work done and I was pleasantly surprised at the cost of the work for something honestly so amazing! He didn't charge for the cleaning and the price of the dipping and essentially turning my other ring into a whole new one was great. The most important thing to me was the ring is

I cant praise John enough for his care, attention to detail, and customer service. Today I dropped off my wedding engagement and eternity ring for resizing. He could see I was apprehensive about leaving them, but he took the time to reassure me and said they would be cherished by him until I came back to collect them. He completed the work in double quick time, my rings being ready for collection in about 2 hours. What he gave me back made me burst into tears.
