Sailing Holidays

We are the largest independent sailing holiday company in the UK. We love sailing and so know exactly what goes into an outstanding holiday. We own and run our own flotilla yachts, as well as working with local yacht owners, all sourced from a select pool of suppliers throughout the Mediterranean for more bespoke holiday options.

Sailing Holidays Ltd is the largest British owned and operated flotilla sailing holiday company. We have been in operation for over 40 years, and are proud of our family based culture that has introduced sailing to thousands of people over the years. Sailing Holidays Ltd began life in 1976 as Flotilla Sailing Club.

Our laid back approach to flotilla sailing provides the ideal first step to sailing a yacht as well as the perfect way to introduce friends and family. The majority of sailors who sail with us will return the following year, many times together with friends they have made on their previous holiday.

A flotilla is a group of 10-12 yachts, guided by one of our lead boats, with a Skipper, Engineer and Hostess on board. On a flotilla holiday you can meander around the beautiful Greek Islands in the comfort of your own yacht, living the dream. The flotilla usually consists of around 20-50 people depending on the size of boats and time of year.

To be able to meander around the islands of the Mediterranean, under sail in the sun is a rare privilege that we are proud to offer. The holidays concentrate on the enjoyable aspects of sailing in the sunny Mediterranean islands, allowing those with little experience to have a go (under the watchful eye of our friendly on board Skippers).
