Many people may not realize that Saddle Safari originally opened in 1993 as a small cycle hire business. Back then the focus was set purely on offering tourists and locals a simple and fun way of seeing this beautiful part of the world. With a modest budget and a lot of enthusiasm we took on Marlows 'Old Slaughter House' that had only stopped its business 6 months previously.

A cargo bike is the ultimate human powered transportation device but you can also use trailers, pannier bags and child seats.

Here at Saddle Safari we have experimented with a range of different folding bikes and there was one brand that stood out above all others. Each bike is custom made in the UK meaning you can get your very own choice of colours, gears and accessories. The bikes are lightweight, long lasting and easy to use.

Demonstrator Bikes

We have several Demonstrator E bikes varying from hardtail to full suspension mountain bikes, hybrid bikes and an electric assist 'race' bike. We have a Madone SL7 56cm with Di2 electronic gearing. We also have a Domane SL7 with E.tap electronic gearing. We have a Domane+ LT 54cm which is the new Trek electric assist road bike, equipped with the Fazua drive system.

We have been Ice Trike Dealers now for several years and have built up a broad base of knowledge and experience with them. They are fantastic products built in Falmouth Cornwall, and are becoming increasingly popular both with the able bodied and the disabled. We have 5 demo models for you to try, including, a Full Fat electric assist with the new Shimano E8000 motor, HD Adventure, Sprint and 2 Steps Electric Adventure.
