At the age of 12, I was a gifted artist and was offered a scholarship at Birmingham University. Unfortunately, I lived in a small village in the Cotswolds and was unable to travel to Birmingham every day to study. At 16 I purchased my first camera which enabled me to take pictures of things I wanted to draw & paint.
