W.Spencer interiors has been the culmination of over 60 years of fine furniture and cabinet making knowledge. Started by my Grandfather William Spencer, a craftsman whose knowledge and passion for wood and quality was second to none. A classic cabinet maker in every sense of the word who started learning his trade before serving as a Royal Marine during the second world war.
His passion grew after he left active service and he went on to run and manage numerous jobs and projects, working for some of the most prestigious and stately homes in London and the south east before eventually moving and setting up in the south west.

In this age of mass production, we pride ourselves in continuing to use traditional cabinet making hand skills along with cutting edge technology to make the finest furniture and interiors, attention to detail and careful selection of timbers are the essential ingredients for all that we make. We only use timber from sustainable sources which meet with all of the latest regulations, and whenever possible using our beautiful native woods.
Here at W.Spencer interiors we offer a complete design service utilising state of the art computer aided design alongside traditional draftsmanship. Whether you want us to design something bespoke and individual or interpret a rough sketch or magazine cutting. We will show you examples of our previous work that is in the style you desire, make suggestions and put your thoughts onto paper.
We have commissioned W.Spencer interiors to build us several items over the past 10 years, from sideboards and coffee tables, to shelving, bedroom furniture and our Kitchen. Everything has been beautifully made and everything still looks as good as new. We get regular phone calls or emails, checking that everything is well with the furniture, it seems as though everything comes with a lifetime guarantee.
Bespoke kitchens from W. Spencer Interiors offers the client a unique chance to turn what is generally the most used room in a home into a truly bespoke one off, that not only reflects their personal style and personality, but works and flows as both a functional kitchen and living area. The days of cabinets around three walls is over.
Here we built a bespoke Stable door out of Oak, all the ironmungery is 316 marine grade stainless steel. We use the highest quality storm guards and seals to ensure the door can withstand whatever nature throws at it. One off staircases, decorative beams, wall panelling, external work such as timber decks and balconies.
