Mill Cottage

Blackthorn Cottage

What a gem. Fantastic views, brilliant accommodation, friendly welcome and super little hamper in the kitchen. The grandchildren loved the open spaces and the chickens. Greer and Maureen were super hosts and there was nothing forgotten in the cottage. Well recommended. More than 5 stars.

Just back from a lovely stay in Rose Cottage. Perfect for us and our 2 young children as it had a private enclosed garden and everything we needed. Beautiful views, walking trails and fresh eggs from the chickens! Our first trip away during covid and we felt very safe. Hope to go back again!

We have been coming to this wonderful place for over 10 years. Greer and Maureen have created a really special and unique environment at Slieve Moyle. The site itself has some of the best views in Northern Ireland. Its a fantastic location with top-notch accommodation.

Just back from 5 wonderful nights in this tranquil cottage. The setting is amazing with stunning views of strangford lough in the distance. Greer and Maureen on hand if you need them. The kids,7 and 4,played freely in the fields and max the friendly black lab was there to guide them home. It truly is an amazing place. The weather was kind too. Newcastle beach only 30 minutes away and Portaferry 5 minutes in the car 5 on the ferry. Aquarium worth a visit too. Cant wait to ho back.
