The 18 hole parkland course today, with its outstanding views of the Pennines Hills and Lancashire coast is a far cry from that original course, where sheep and cattle grazed. Situated less than 6 miles mile from Junction 31 of the M6 and 3 miles from junction 6 of the M65, Blackburn Golf Club is highly accessible.

Special membership deals are available this year for golfers of all abilities and ages. There is no joining fee and all new members are welcome. Direct debit options are available. If you want to apply for membership, you can download and print off the application from below. 7 day membership with privilege to compete in same gender or mixed competitions organised by the club.

I would like to start by saying a big thank you for all the support I've already received in the last 12 months as Captain Elect. My late grandfather was a member of Blackburn Golf Club for 30+ years so choosing Blackburn was an easy decision for me. How times have changed, I used to caddy for him for a glass of coke!
Ladies Academy

If you are new to golf, or have already started to master the game, we hope that the Ladies Golf Academy will have something to offer you. This is designed to introduce ladies to golf and develop their skills and knowledge and, most importantly, enjoyment of the game. A 6 week programme of weekly group lessons from our Club Professional plus practice sessions run by a team of mentors from our Ladies Section.
