With nearly 50 years in hairdressing, Gillian trained under Vidal Sassoon and Schwarzkopf. She co-owns the salon with her sister Joanne and specialises in colour theory and cutting techniques.

Joanne brings 30+ years of experience, specialising in hair extensions and styling. She co-owns the salon with Gillian and holds qualifications from Wella and Balmain training programs.

My appt was on time.. Staff were vigilante about checking my temperature. Made sure I took precautions with antibacterial on my hands. Face masked etc xx staff kept there distance but made people feel valued and asked how they felt xx

Had a cut and blow at Lox Hair and Beauty today. Was very impressed with the care taken by the team. Temperature taken, hand sanitiser available, disposable towels, everyone wearing masks and stylists chairs partitioned. The environment felt very safe, well done to Gillian, Jo and team.

I visited Lox for a cut and colour on the 8th less than a week after they were allowed to reopen. The whole process from start to finish was fabulous. They efforts they have gone to to safe guard their clients and staff is second to none. Whilst it was different from the usual experience, it was safe and relaxed. Not to mention my hair looks fabulous again. Thanks for all your efforts.. ill see you again soon. Thanks Lou

Had my first cut and colour since lock down began, with Gillian. She, Joanne and all the staff have created a safe, organised, and clean environment, all staff wear complete PPE, chairs are appropriately spaced and protected by large perspex screens which fit with the decor of the salon and are not intrusive. The staff have a logical, excellent system in place that is well explained and easy and comfortable to follow. I felt safe, relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed the usual warm, friendly reception and treatments. Thanks Gill.
