GB Movers was established in 1969 by Greg Brown father of the present proprietor James Brown. Greg used his experience gained during a gap break prior to college with North American van lines 'Denver Colorado' when establishing his removals company. The American system of packing consists of packing literally everything into a box or barrel.
This excessive use of packing material, by contempory British removals company standards, almost eliminated damages and hugely increased customer satisfaction. A modified style of US packing was put in place coupled with continental practice of using removals company trucks with padded interiors produced similar results.
