
For over 100 years the Doughty family have been serving families and businesses in the local area. From the time of our Great Grandfather Thomas Doughty as postmaster and butcher in Eastling to the present day at the butcher's shop in Doddington the family have enjoyed a key role in the heart of the community.

We are an award winning traditional butchers, with our own abattoir and farm shop situated in the pretty Kent village of Doddington. The Doughty family have been providing customers in the surrounding area with top quality meat and local produce from known suppliers for over 100 years. Today more than ever the provenance and known quality of meat supply is highly regarded by buyers from all sectors.

Most of our farm assured beef and lamb comes from the Anderson family at Hole Street Farm, Kingsdown, about a mile away. They are mostly Sussex or Aberdeen Angus Cross cattle. The traditional pork sausage is also sold as a chipolata (16 to lb) cocktail, and ploughmans jumbo sausage (8oz). We are happy to make sausages to most specifications (subject to ingredients etc.), provided the order is for a minimum of 10lb.
