Established in 1969, we are proud stewards of a historic complex dating back to the 17th century. Our centre combines architectural heritage with a curated selection of antiques, housed in original oak-beamed structures and period buildings. The Bridgebarn, dating from the 1600s, retains its historic tiled roof and structural timbers while offering a unique shopping experience. Our Haybarn, constructed around 1560, preserves Tudor brickwork and centuries-old craftsmanship. We maintain the original character of these buildings while providing modern accessibility and comfort.Our tea rooms serve freshly made meals daily in a charming courtyard setting, open Tuesday to Sunday. Located in the conservation area of Battlesbridge, we offer free parking and easy access via rail and road. The centre comprises multiple specialist dealers, each offering distinct antique collections and services. The Haybarn Tea Rooms serve homemade cakes, scones, sandwiches and light meals daily in a charming courtyard setting. All food is prepared fresh to order using quality ingredients. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30am to 4:30pm, with special hours for bank holidays.

Smaller than the adjacent Battlesbridge Antiques Centre, though with a fairly different and complementary selection of goods, including militaria and second-hand books (as well as furniture and larger items). Some bargains to be had, but prices of some things dearer than online so its wise to check before making a purchase. Several dealers, all extremely friendly and helpful.
