While it seems a million miles from the purpose-built farm shop and food halls that we call home today, not much has really changed. Here's how we've grown our family business - there are now 10 of us involved - without compromising our belief that high-quality, locally-sourced food is the best investment our customers can make.

We have worked hard over the years, rearing and sourcing locally farmed meat for our farm shop in Woodplumpton and for our traditional butchery in the Barton Grange Garden Centre Farm Shop and the Food Hall at Bents Garden and Home.Wherever possible the meat we sell is sourced from within a 20 mile radius, providing full traceability and helping to reduce those all-important food miles.
