Pete started cycling in 1970 as a Junior, Road Racing and Time Trialing, winning a few along the way (usually when the good guys weren't around) with San Fairy Ann, Southborough Wheelers and Lewes Wanderers posting 53 min 25mile and 20 min 10 mile PB's before forming the very successful In-Gear Quickvit Trainsharp team in 1994, later expanding this to an open club.
