We nurture, enrich, challenge, engage and educate pupils from 2-11 years of age. Our pupils are always at the forefront of our educational provision and we strive to put their needs first ensuring that excellence is at the heart of all we do.
At Heathcote School, we celebrate the whole child whether that be through excellent academic provision (ISI, 2019) or by ensuring that our children are offered a wide range of co-curricular opportunities from Tae Kwando to Chess Club. We have monthly Heathcote values and our PSHRE education celebrates these: respect, positivity, humility, resilience, aspiration to name but a few.

Heathcote School Holiday Club
Report
Every school holiday, Heathcote School welcomes pupils from all schools, age 2-11 years, to our Holiday Club! Each day is led by one of our members of staff, with supporting assistants. The club makes use of the school facilities, as well as taking the children on trips locally or by minibus. 7 per session for Breakfast Club, which runs from 7.30am - 9am, and provides a breakfast meal and drink.
History of the School

Mrs. K. Latham founded Heathcote School in 1935 to meet the growing need for an independent school in the Danbury area. The original school opened at Heathcote House on Danbury Common and moved to its present location around 1940. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Greenland, acquired the school from the second owners, Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Heath, in 1977.
Our Nursery

Heathcote Nursery provides an excellent service to suit childcare needs, with the added benefits of the use of all our on-site school facilities and teaching staff. We pride ourselves on our inclusive, supportive ethos that recognises every child as a unique individual, deserving of the very best care and attention from our highly qualified, professional team of staff.
