Absolute joke of a company with lowest pay in area. Make you start in middle of the night 1am, 2am, 3am & make you do 5.5 or 6 days a week.

Absolute joke of a company. Kept fobbing us off when our delivery didnt arrive two days running, then laughed when we phoned up to complain. 600 of stock now missing and not even an apology. Tried to get us to take it up with the company they subcontracted the work to when our contract is with McDowell. Complete incompetence. Avoid like the plague.

If you're thinking about getting your hgv licence then Tony Whiteoak is your man. Whilst he is very professional in his approach he also knows how to put you at ease as you learn. Very happy I chose to train here.

Great experience learning to drive HGV with Tony Whiteoak who was truly an expert in his field and filled me with confidence to pass my test at the first attempt. I was helped step by step from the start to help me become a HGV driver and Tony always answered calls and replied to texts. Everyone's safety is paramount to Mcdowells with everybody wearing PPE and well marked out walkways etc. First class service from Andy Cairns too. Cheers guys.
