Bluebells Day Nursery is a small, family-owned business that was founded in 1997 by Helen Lloyd. We endeavour to create a home from home environment across our two nurseries to provide children with a sense of belonging, as well as ensuring that parents and carers are confident when leaving their child in our care.
Helen’s Story

Bluebells Day Nursery opened by Helen Lloyd in memory of her late husband Rob Blewett who died suddenly from a rare form of cancer at the age of 24. Totally devastated, Helen's future dreams were shattered as she had not only lost her husband but also the chance to have a family. She left her job as a financial advisor for a bank and set out to open her own day nursery, knowing absolutely nothing about the industry.

We are passionate about creating a home from home environment that allows your child to flourish through new and exciting experiences. This nursery is located in a refurbished, two-story house with a large garden that is also surrounded by local parks and is in the heart of the community.
