Early Years Education

Forest School Sessions

Manager
Maria has over 15 years of experience in early years education, managing Much Hadham Pre-school since 2005. She holds a Level 5 Foundation Degree in Early Years and is a Designated Safeguarding Person. Maria lives locally with her family and is deeply committed to nurturing young learners.
Jayne
Deputy Manager
Jayne has worked at the pre-school since 2001, supporting children's transition to school readiness. She holds an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education and is a Designated Safeguarding Person. Jayne enjoys gardening and Welsh rugby.
Marie
SENCO
Marie joined the team in 2021, bringing over 8 years of experience from Amwell View School. She holds a Level 4 qualification in supporting learners with autism and is a SENCO. Marie enjoys walking and family time.
Jemma
Early Years Key Person
Jemma, a former primary school teacher, joined the staff after her children attended the pre-school. She holds a BEd in Primary Education and contributes expertise in early literacy and numeracy through play-based learning.
Marlene
Early Years Key Person
Marlene has worked at the pre-school since 2015, bringing a passion for early childhood development. She holds a Level 2 Diploma in Early Years and enjoys supporting children's growth while balancing family life in the village.

What age children do you accept?
We accept children from age 2, with eligibility for 15 funded hours the term after their 3rd birthday.
What qualifications do your staff hold?
All staff hold Level 3 or higher qualifications in early years education, with regular training in safeguarding, first aid, and child development.
How do you support children with special needs?
Our SENCO coordinates individualised support plans in collaboration with external specialists, ensuring inclusive learning environments and tailored activities.

The staff and environment are wonderful. The facilities are brilliant and all my children have attended and adored not only the preschool but also the breakfast and afterschool club too. I cannot recommend it enough.

All 3 of my daughters have attended Much Hadham Preschool. They all absolutely loved their time there and we're beautifully looked after by the staff. The staff look after the children with great love and care and are very accommodating (if at all possible) if you need to change a session. I will miss them all very much when my youngest finishes at Preschool this month.

I have had four children go through this fantastic facility. Nothing is too much trouble for the dedicated staff, and my children have always been really really happy there; learning important skills:- social, fine motor, listening skills, all of which have really helped with getting them school ready. I am very sad that I am at the end of a wonderful seven year run.
