BMW E46 3 Series

There is no doubt that the E46 is still an awesome car, they have well and truly stood the test of time. The E46 M3 with its wide arches and M3 mirrors looks incredibly aggressive, some may argue more so than the later E92? It has to be said however that the sound system and Navigation system are pretty lacking by today's standards, so we have developed a few modifications to overcome this.

The new Mini Countryman is a cool ride, with no less than 10 models in the line up from the 64mpg Mini One to the awesome 4WD John Cooper S, there is no wonder it's becoming a very popular choice. Honda S2000

The Honda S2000 has bags of potential for upgrading the audio system. The first thing to do is upgrade the head unit to something with Bluetooth and iPod connectivity or even integrated DAB radio. The excellent CDE-196 DAB is the perfect head unit costing just 369 inc VAT fully fitted. This includes the glass DAB antenna, steering controls and a full 2 year warranty.
Jaguar XK

The standard audio system in the Jaguar XK consists of a set of 6.5" components in the front doors and a set of rear 6" coaxes in the rear quarter panels. They are all driven from the radio/Sat-Nav unit. The sound is pretty poor with little or no bass and no top end detail.
When we began to dismantle the vehicle it became apparent that there is little or no sound proofing in the doors or rear quarters which goes some way to explaining the problem, combine this with nasty speakers and no power and it all becomes clear.This upgrade was going to be tough as the customer had set the fantastic Jaguar Bowers and Wilkins system fitted as a factory option as our benchmark.

Maserati Granturismo

This has to be one of the most beautiful looking cars on the road today. The Hi-Fi system is not bad in principle but can be improved massively. It uses front 6.5" components with a 10" subwoofer in the rear shelf (which doesn't do much except rattle!). It's driven by a multi-channel amp mounted in the boot compartment.
