All of our CNC lathes are fitted with an automatic bar feed with up to 3" bar and 10" billet capacity. R&A Engineering is a family run organisation that was established in 1985, providing Precision Machined Components for a diverse range of industries. The company was trading as a partnership for twenty years before R&A Engineering became Limited in 2005. We recently relocated to Farmbrough Close, Aylesbury, in approximately a 10,000 square feet facility, allowing for further growth in a modern clean working environment.

We are a family run precision engineering company with over thirty years of experience, specialising in providing precision machined components, through CNC milling and CNC turning. We have invested in the latest CNC milling technology and can offer milled components in all materials including: Plastics, aluminium, mild steels, stainless steels and inconel.

R and A are highly skilled and experienced engineers offering CNC milling and CNC turning of components for a diverse range of applications and industries. Our extensive machining capabilities is complimented by a power CNC turning section, which includes CNC lathes fitted with up to 3" automatic bar fed capacity, and up to 10" chucking.
Sliding Head Turning

Our sliding head lathes give us the capability to supply high batch production runs on a fast turnaround. We have the capability to machine intricate components between 2-36mm diameter to the highest quality, machining components simultaneously, to reduce cycle times, maximising our efficiency and competitiveness.

Combining our software and expertise in the industry, we work closely with our customers to identify cost effective solutions to their manufacturing requirements. We have invested in the latest software including; Edgecam Advanced Milling CAD CAM Software to enhance our machining capability, we can import most CAD formats.
