A beautiful, quiet, family-friendly, caravan park, offering pitches for touring caravans, motor homes and tents. Situated in the Derbyshire Dales, only 400 yards from Carsington Water reservoir and less than 5 miles from the Peak District National Park. We have a charming south-facing, spacious park, with grass and hardstanding pitches, both electric (16amp) and non-electric and the majority of the caravan and motorhome pitches have their own water taps (please ask when booking).

Our site provides a convenient base for walkers, families, couples and cyclists to explore the beautiful scenery of the Derbyshire Dales and the surrounding countryside. DOGS ON SHORT LEADS at all times and on your pitch area (can be unleased on the dog walk area only). Carsington Water is a beautiful man-made reservoir built for both water storage and recreational use. There is a well maintained path all the way around the reservoir designed for walking and cycling which is approximately 8.5 miles long and offers views of the reservoir as well as bird hides to watch the many bird species that visit.

Thank you very much to all our visitors who have taken the time to give us reviews in many different places, we really do appreciate it. What a fantastic site! Stayed for just two nights, but everything was so well organised and very friendly and we will definitley be back again. Chose this campsite for my 3 year old son's first camping experience.
