Questions
What vaccination records are required for pet boarding?
Dogs need Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus (every 3 years), Leptospirosis (annual), and Kennel Cough (annual) vaccinations. Cats require Panleukopenia, Herpesvirus, Calicivirus (annual) with Feline Leukaemia recommended for outdoor cats.
Do you offer viewings of the facilities?
We don't provide physical viewings due to security and animal welfare concerns but offer virtual tours through our Facebook page with daily facility videos.
How do you handle medication administration?
We administer oral medications at no extra charge. Topical treatments require additional fees, and all medications must be in original packaging with clear instructions.
What are your closure dates?
We close annually for Christmas (24th-26th December), one week in January, and one week in November. Specific dates are published in advance on our website.
How do you assess dog suitability for daycare?
New dogs undergo trial assessments evaluating social behaviour, separation tolerance, and compatibility with various breeds through gradual introduction to our existing groups.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments through our online booking system with major credit/debit cards. Payment details are managed securely through our Revelation Pets software platform.

First things first; don't expect to get through to them when you try to call. And then when you raise this with them, expect to have some curt and rather rude response about "how we're not sitting by the phone all day filing our nails". I'm sorry ladies, but if you run a business and hardly ever answer your phone, you should expect your potential customers to get a little frustrated when they can't get through. Be understanding and explain the situation (that you just don't have the staff) in a polite way, instead of attacking your customer as if it is somehow their fault that you aren't available

They said they would share pictures of my pet whilst we were away but they did not. I ask how she was after 1 day to be told she was settling in and no issues. But when I collected her after 3 days she had lost weight and I was told she wouldn't eat her food for the first couple of days.. So I wasn't impressed with this place. I would not use them again. Response
My Pet was with you for 3 days as I collected her at 10am. I left a tip because I was happy to see her. If I was told that she wasn't eating properly I would not have been so shocked when I got her back home and saw her out of her carrier

After reading a couple of bad reviews I was hesitant at first but these guys were recommended to us so I choose to ignore them. And I am so glad I did. These guys were brilliant. I had no problem getting in touch with them and Holly replied to all my emails rapidly and in detail. I saw plenty of lovely pictures of Leo online and it reassured us whilst we were away that he was also having a good time. To top it off he even got groomed before collecting him. I will not be taking Leo anywhere else. Thank you for looking after our fury baby!

We wouldn't take our dog anywhere else, they look after all there guests as if they are their own.

Our 6 month old Labrador has been going to Haleswood Pet Hotel for doggy daycare for the past month and she absolutely LOVES it. You can see all the team there have genuine love for animals and that they treat your loved one as if it was their own. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable - you could not ask for more. We would highly recommend them to anyone.
