Shepherds Huts
Two bespoke shepherds huts provide intimate countryside escapes for couples. Each hut includes a double bed, kitchenette, and en-suite facilities with private outdoor seating. Bookable from Friday to Monday or midweek stays, with deposits starting at 100. Perfect for romantic getaways with easy access to local walking trails and attractions.
Wellness Retreats
Seasonal wellness weekends combine yoga, meditation, and gourmet meals in our countryside setting. Packages include accommodation, guided sessions, and chef-prepared organic meals. Activities feature gong baths, countryside walks, and fitness classes. Available in luxury cabins or shared shepherds huts with pricing from 550 per person.

What accommodation types are available?
We offer six luxury log cabins sleeping 2-4 guests and two shepherd’s huts for couples, all with modern amenities and private outdoor spaces.
Are pets allowed in the cabins?
Two of our log cabins accept pets with prior arrangement. A £25 cleaning fee applies, and pets must be kept off furniture and under guest control at all times.
How do I book additional services?
Pre-order meals, beauty treatments, and other extras through our website during booking or contact us directly at least 7 days before arrival.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit/debit cards and bank transfers for deposits and balances. Cash payments are not accepted for security reasons.
Is there mobile signal at the lodges?
Mobile coverage varies by provider – Three has strongest signal. We recommend downloading maps and directions before arrival due to potential connectivity limitations.
Are there accessibility features available?

My second time staying at Squirrels Drey. The location and lodge is still as fabulous. We also booked a second lodge for our daughter and partner for her 21st birthday, she absolutely loved it as much as me.… Setting is beautiful, lovely walks and fantastic restaurants and pubs all close by. Hot tub was well used by all of us. Just perfect and can’t wait to return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Looks beautiful and very well maintained, walked past it many times with the dogs and often think how fab it would be to stay there even if it is only 10 minutes away from home!

Amazing lodges! So cosy, clean, lovely views and not far to walk into the village or Foxton Locks! The hot tub was so relaxing. The welcome gifts was an added bonus and so thoughtful. Will be going again for sure 😀

We would highly recommend the Lodges we had such a special stay, the lodges are so well furnished and very chic. They are such a great place to go and chill and relax!
